Neil Caplan holds a PhD in Politics from London School of Economics & Political Science (University of London) and retired in 2008 from teaching Humanities at Vanier College, Montreal, Canada. He is currently Scholar-in-Residence at Vanier College and Affiliate Assistant Professor in the History Department of Concordia University. Since the mid-1970s, he has published numerous articles and eight books on the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict. His latest research involved editing and annotating an English edition of the Personal Diaries (1953-1956) of Moshe Sharett, Israel's first Foreign Minister and second Prime Minister.
