Maureen Foss is a late bloomer who belongs to a once-a-week critiquing group of five published writers who have been together over 25 years. She has a third book recently published.  She was a board member for 10 years with The Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts, as well as secretary of the Pender Harbour & District Wildlife Society. Foss was also a volunteer in reading activity for grades one and two for 5 years. Later she volunteered at a Reptile Refuge in Surrey, B.C. She currently resides and writes from Lac La Hache, B.C.
