Mark Frutkin (1948, Cleveland, Ohio) has published nine books of fiction, three books of poetry and three works of nonfiction. His work has appeared in Canada, the U.S., England, Holland, India, Spain, Poland, Russia, South Korea and Turkey. He has written widely on art and books for The Globe and Mail, Canadian Forum, Harper's, the Ottawa Citizen, and others. His poetry and fiction have been published in numerous Canadian and foreign journals. He has taught creative writing at Carleton University, and the Universities of Ottawa, New Brunswick and Western Ontario. He lives in Ottawa with his wife, Faith.
